Welcome.
I’m Eric. It’s nice to meet you.
I'm a licensed mental health counselor who works with individuals and couples navigating life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, gender identity exploration, and relationship challenges. I specialize in affirming, compassionate therapy for members of the LGBTQ+ community and am licensed in New York and New Jersey.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe counseling is a collaborative process built on empathy and respect. You know yourself best, and I see myself as a partner to help you dig into what’s weighing on you. My goal is to meet you with compassion and care—and yes, some tough questions—to better understand your experience and needs. I work from a strengths-based lens, drawing from psychodynamic, person-centered, and narrative approaches. I also weave in mindfulness practices and cognitive strategies when they fit. My work is grounded in queer and feminist perspectives that honor all parts of your identity.
As a gay man, I understand firsthand what it means to navigate the world as a queer person, and I bring that lived experience into every session. I'm committed to honoring your journey toward self-acceptance, authenticity, and the life you want to live. Therapy works best when you can show up as your whole self, and I'm here to create that space with you

more about me
Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working in production and entertainment. My own experience in therapy changed my life, and I wanted to be able to offer that same kind of help to other people. That's what led me back to school to get my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
